ONE RIDE AT A TIME
A Climate Solution
Join a Ride Spot Challenge
The Great Climate Bike Challenge
One easy way we can all contribute to combating climate change in our everyday lives is replacing car trips with bike rides. Join the Great Climate Bike Challenge on Ride Spot and commit to replacing one day worth of car trips each week with bike rides. That’s only four one-way rides! When nearly half of all trips taken in the U.S. are less than 3 miles (just a 15-minute bike ride), you’ll be surprised by how easy it is to get out of the car and onto two wheels, having fun and saving the planet along the way.

When recording your car-replacement rides on Ride Spot, make sure to select “Commute” under “Ride Category” at the end of your ride. Every mile counts!

Ride to Carbon Neutral—Traditional Bike (319 miles)
We know the bicycle is a critical tool to help lower carbon emissions, but we also know the manufacturing of a bike isn’t without its own climate impact. On average, it takes 319 miles of riding your bike to offset its carbon footprint. Join the Ride to Carbon Neutral Challenge on Ride Spot and watch those miles fly by as you pedal your way to a better planet.

We know that electric bicycles are one of the most powerful tools to help lower your carbon emissions, but we also know the manufacturing of an e-bike isn’t without its own climate impact. On average, it takes 508 miles of riding your electric bike to offset its carbon footprint. Join the Ride to Carbon Neutral Challenge on Ride Spot and watch those miles fly by as you pedal your way to a better planet.
